Kevin Asheton and Beverly Keech originally trained as professional actors in the early 1980s.
We came across the technique during an actors' workshop and became fascinated by the approach: we then trained for three years at the centre for training in London and qualified as teachers in November 1991.
We have both taught for further education colleges and have provided Alexander Technique based courses in Stress Management and Presentation Skills for companies and schools.
We also offer a range of Management , Soft Skills and Health & Safety courses. These are listed on our COURSES page.
Beverley has been working extensively with health care professionals since 2009, working to reduce and prevent work related musculo-skeletal disorders particularly RSI and back injury. She works at both Luton & Dunstable Hospitals and Barts Health Trust in London.
Most recently Beverley has been exploring the use of Alexander Technique in mental health working with Alexander Technique supported by the use of mindfulness in activity.
Mindfulness is a core principle of the Alexander Technique and all our work is approached through this discipline.
We offer both introductory courses in the Alexander Technique and teach private lessons on an appointment basis.
Appointments are available at our St Albans teaching studio Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 8:00pm, Saturdays 9.30 to 12.30.
